A Garden for Adele was commissioned by the School of Photographic Arts: Ottawa in the summer of 2018. Starting in May, Deborah planted the seeds for thel plants she learned about when she first moved to Little Italy, Ottawa - Adele was one of her first gardening "teachers". In the garden there were scarlet runner beans, multi-coloured tomatoes, multi-coloured peppers, hot purple peppers, eggplants, dill, cosmos and calendula. As the p[ants grew so did the bamboo structures that Deborah erected.
